Certificate Awarding Ceremony

The Ekatmik Adivasi Vikas Pariyojana Scheme in Maharashtra for the Adivasi community is launched by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of Maharashtra. We were selected by the government to be a part of the scheme wherein Adivasi youth were educated and trained in Neurotherapy for a period of 12 months.

On 25th June 2018, certificates were distributed to the students who successfully completed Neurotherapy certificate course under the banner of ‘ Ekatmik Adivasi Vikas Pariyojna’. Mr. Ajit Kumbhar, IAS, project officer, Jawahar, presided the certificate awarding ceremony held at the Ashram. Mr. Sunil Bhusara, renowned social worker of that region, shared the stage along with Mr. Ajay Mehra, chairman of Dr. Lajpatrai Neurotherapy Ashram. After welcome song by the interns, the function was started by ‘jyoti prajwalan’ by project officer along with Mr. Ajay Mehra, Ajay Gandhi, Ramgopal Parihar and Sunil Bhusara. Mr. Ajay Mehra addressed the gathering by explaining the theme of Neurotherapy. Thereafter Mr. Ajay Gandhi explained the need of Neurotherapy training to rural adivasi’s. The dream of Dr. Lajpatrai Mehra, therapists fondly address him as Guruji, can only be realized when every 6th village of our country is equipped with a Neurotherapist of that village. Students of current batch presented a patriotic song inspiring the gathering. Government Ashram school students attended the programme. The Panchayat members of Suryamal village also attended the function. A resolution signed by the Panchayat members was submitted to the Project Officer, Mr. Ajit Kumbhar, requesting Maharashtra Government to name the area as ‘Lajpat Nagar’, in memory of our beloved Guruji. Mr Ajit Kumbhar distributed the certificates to students. In his speech, Mr. Kumbhar hailed the need to promote such training activities which can keep every village of the state free from disease without recourse to any medicine and also self employing the adivasi to a great extent. He also offered necessary infrastructure needed to open clinics in villages for any adivasi neurotherapist who came forward. The government would help them with whatever they need to raise clinics in their nearby villages and earn their livelyhood. The function was concluded with the National Anthem. Mr. Ajay Mehra, the chairman, thanked all the dignitaries for their presence and wished all the students the very best for their future endeavours.
